This is a number given by US Bank for toll free calls. Said that there was no problem with it but wanted to talk about it. Did not say who was calling but said it was about my credit card. The do not call idea has failed miserably. I use silent ring on my phone and then just clear these stupid messages out at my leisure sometime later in the day. My advice to anyone receiving similar calls is to just hang up and then attempt to block the number by whatever means. This is the latest of a multitude of 'last notice' calls in the past 6 months. to press 1 or to press 3 to stop further calls. Said that it was my 'last notice' to lower my credit card / loan rate. They are using the US bank number and trying to get credit card/social security info. I called the number back and got a representative from US Bank. This number called me a day after I activated my new credit card. I will go to my branch to find out the real story. I went through the same thing 2 days later. Then I was told wait time were longer than usual & try again later. When I called, the prompt was to enter the credit card number, which I did. I received a $0 balance "invoice" in the mail from US bank with a credit card number I didn't recognize.
